How to Complete the 2018 MISSION PLEDGE FORM

BASIC MISSION SHARED/UNIFIED SUPPORT

If you want to participate in the full range of denominational mission, enter a single amount and it will be distributed according to the percentages listed. OR enter the actual dollar amount you want to pledge undesignated toward the mission work of each of the governing bodies (and leave the first space blank).

DESIGNATED FOR BUDGETED MISSION PROJECTS

Supports Specific Budgeted Mission.

If you want a specific amount to go toward the line item amount budgeted by the indicated governing body, enter the information requested. Such designation is usually for the purpose of interpreting/highlighting a specific mission/ project or to assure a minimum level of funding. The specific mission/project must be in the budget of the indicated body. [If a particular mission receives more “Designated” pledges than budgeted, churches will be contacted regarding reallocation of their designations.]

EXTRA COMMITMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Provides an opportunity to contribute amounts “over and above” what has been budgeted by a governing body for a specific mission.

If you want to pledge an amount “in addition to” that which has been budgeted, please provide the requested information. These are “donor restricted” in the accounting sense and the Presbytery strictly observes accounting requirements. Restricted contributions are forwarded within 30 days of receipt.
