Indicates New Matter
The House assembled at 12:00 noon.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rev. Charles E. Seastrunk, Jr., as follows:
Our thought for today is from Proverbs 27:7: “Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens the wits of another.”
Let us pray. Almighty God, as these Representatives come together, may they be joined together to do Your will and the will of the people. Guide them to make the right decisions to move this State forward, that we may be an example to others in our fight to preserve freedom. Bless our Nation, State, and all our leaders. Protect our defenders of freedom at home and abroad, as they protect us. Heal the wounds, those seen and those hidden, of our brave warriors. Hear us, O Lord, as we pray. Amen.
Pursuant to Rule 6.3, the House of Representatives was led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America by the SPEAKER.
After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of Friday, February 10, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.
