GP online services can help patients who have caring responsibilities

Carers can log on to view, book and cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions and view some medical records without the need to make an appointment at the practice. This means they can easily keep track of the care and medication of the person they are caring for, letting other health and social care agencies have those details if appropriate. Carers no longer have to worry about remembering names or amounts of medicines, as all the information is available in one place.
