REUNION DE BORDEAUX: 7 AU 9 SEPTEMBRE 2007
PROGRAM
Friday the 7th:
11.30: Arrival at Libourne – Artigues de Lussac LFDI.
12.00: Drink and Lunch at the «Terrasse d’Eole”, on the aerodrome.
14.00: Departure by coach to Bordeaux.
14.45: Visit of the Air Trafic Control Centerat Bordeaux (En Route Control) : general information about the AirControlCenter, visit by small groups with a Controller: organization, radar following, controllers job in actual situation and then, simulation and explanations of situation awarness.
Only 24 participants will be authorized for this very exceptionnal visit. The first registred: the first allowed!
For others, please indicate on your registration form what you prefer: guided tour in Bordeaux harbour by boat, or guided pedestrian tour in the Old Part of the City. We will arrange consequently.
17.00: Bus leaves for Libourne, free time at Libourne or in the Hotel.
19.30: Relax dinner on the banks of Dordogne River.
Saturday the 8th :
9.00: Coach leaves.
9.30: Guided sightseeing tour in Bordeaux by bus and walking (different fromFriday program).
11.30: Coach leaves.
12.30: Oysters and Seafood at Arcachon, then free time for a short while.
14.30: Boarding in a «pinasse»on the Bassin d’Arcachon. Sight seeing tour to Birds Island.
16.00: We leave to the highest sandhill in Europe: the Pilat.
17.00: Bus leaves, back to the Hotel.
19.15: Gala Dinner in a Château with wine tasting.
Sunday the 9th :
9.00: French IFFR Section AGM
10.00: Guided tour in Saint-Emilion : one of the most beautiful Cities of Aquitaine for seeing and tasting.
12.00 : Lunch
13.30: Back to the Airport and good bye.
FEES : About 200 euros pp excluded hotel. Hotel, continental buffet breakfast included: 55,20 € pp
per nightin double room and 90,40 € in single room.
