OBJECTIVES:

At the conclusion of this lecture, the participant should be better able to: 1) Identify high-yield diagnostic elements in taking a history of an adult with possible ADHD; 2) Recognize diagnostic criteria for ADHD, with focus on presentation in adults; 3) Create a differential diagnosis for attention difficulties in adults; 4) Identify patients who can be managed well for ADHD in primary care; 5) Describe medication options, side effects, benefits, and alternatives.

TARGET AUDIENCE – Endocrinologists, Primary Care Physicians, Internal Medicine Physician’s, Hospitalists, Other Interested Specialists, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Students, Medical Students, Nursing Students, Nurses and Nurse Practitioners.
