1. ANNOUNCEMENT & JURISDICTION
The NAME OF CLUB known as the PROMOTOR will conduct an INTERCLUB meeting in accordance with the GENERAL COMPETITION RULES OF MOTORCYCLING AUSTRALIA (GCR’S), these supplementary regulations & any additions or amendments approved by MWA. This event is open to holders of a Junior or Senior National Licence.
2. OFFICIALS
Officials are appointed with the approval of MWA. Control will be under the Clerk of Course with the supervision from the Steward/s of the meeting who reserve the right to alter, postpone or cancel all or part of the event program if required without notice.

3.3 GATES OPEN FOR SPECTATORS AT 4:00pm

4. MINIMUM/MAXIMUM RIDERS
The maximum number of entries that will be accepted per class is 15 riders.
The minimum number of riders to constitute a class is 5 riders.
Classes may be combined or cancelled to suit entries received.
5. ENTRY FEES AND CONDITIONS
5.1 CLOSING DATES FOR ENTRIES
Entries will officially close 22nd of October 2014.
5.2 Late entries may be accepted up until the 2nd of November 2014 but will incur a late fee of $50.00. The only late entries that will be accepted are where there are available places on the grid.
5.3 ENTRY FEES
Juniors
Entry Fees: $65.00 per rider (includes rider & 2 passes)
$20.00 per rider extra class entered
$40 Demo Class 50cc
Seniors
Entry Fees $80.00 per rider (includes Rider and Mechanic pass)
$25.00 per rider extra class entered
Transponders $15.00 compulsory except for demo 50cc class
Extra machines will be allowed but the machine must go through machine examination in the time specified.
THERE ARE NO ONE DAY LICENCES FOR THIS EVENT.
Cancellation: Will only be accepted up to 72 Hours before the event anything after will not be accepted. Cancellations will attract a $30.00 administration cancellation fee. A medical certificate must be supplied to the Race Secretary upon refund.

6. MACHINE EXAMINATION
Pits will open at 1:00pm
All competitors must present themselves with their MA Licence, MA Log Book (Juniors) and full riding gear for inspection.
Any machine not presented with all of the above requirements will be rejected!
ALL MACHINES MUST CONFORM TO THE GCR’S
7. TRANSPONDERS
Transponders will be compulsory at this meeting, except for Division 1. Transponders can be purchased
through MWA, or hired for $15.00 per day. If you have your own personal transponder a $5.00 admin fee will apply.
It is compulsory to have purchased and fitted a transponder bracket prior to this meeting. Transponder
brackets are available for purchase for $15.00 on the day from the transponder operators.
You must supply your own cable ties.
Condition of entry:
When a transponder is transferred to the competitor, it is the competitor’s responsibility for any repairs or
replacement cost of the transmitter if damaged or lost.
It is the competitor's responsibility to ensure the transponder is mounted correctly, and securely to prevent
damage from fouling other components on the machine.
It is the competitor's responsibility transponders are returned in good condition at the end of the event, or if
due to machine failure or injury before the machine leaves the pit area. Competitors WILL be fined $50
for not returning transponders on the day.
Transponders must be returned to the designated person as advised at the riders briefing.
For transponders not returned on the same day, or not returned to the designated person, in addition to
the $50 fee, the hirer is responsible for the transponder until it arrives back at the MWA office. This
includes while in transit with Australia Post and by Courier. No excuse will be entertained for non-delivery.
It is recommended transponders be hand-delivered.
Transponders must be fitted for all practice sessions.
NOTE: The onus is on guardian/rider to ensure transponders are on machines prior to each event.
8. NOISE TESTING
To ensure compliance with GCR’s and local environment regulations regular noise testing will be
conducted at Motorcycling WA events.
Machines may be tested for noise at this event. Please ensure your machine has a properly packed
muffler and all after-market exhausts meet the maximum noise levels as per GCR regulations.
9. RACE CONDITIONS
The promoters reserve the right to postpone, cancel or change the program if necessary with MWA
approval prior to the meeting or with permission from the Steward on the day of the meeting.
Control will be under the Clerk Of Course with supervision from the Steward.
9.1 RIDERS MEETING
A riders meeting will be held at 3:45PM SHARP. All riders must attend.
9.2 PRACTICE
Practice will commence at 4:00PM on the day for all capacity classes. Minimum of 3 laps time permitting.
9.3 START METHOD
Self -penalising drop gates. Clutch Start.
1. 15 second board displayed to all riders for full 15 seconds.
2. At the end of the 15 sec a 5-second board will be displayed.
3. The gate will drop between 5 and 10 seconds after the 5-sec board is shown.
Riders to be in the start gates for the next race as soon as practical.
Dead motors in the starting area.
Gate positions will be drawn by ballot by the rider on the day for the first round. 2nd & 3rd round gate positions will be by previous race finish. Only authorised officials will be permitted on the start line.
9.4 FINISH METHOD
A one-lap board will be displayed to the riders indicating when one lap remains. The chequered flag is displayed to signal the race is finished.
9.5 CHANGE OF MACHINE
A change of machine is permitted as per the GCR’s on the condition that written notification must be in the hands of the Clerk of Course at least 10 minutes prior to the race in which the substitution is to be made and further, that the replacement machine must have been correctly entered, examined and passed at machine examination. Machine change must be of the same capacity.
9.6 PROTESTS
All protests shall be in writing and accompanied by a fee of $70.00 and must be in accordance with the Manual of Motorcycle sport. (refer GCR’s)

11. FIRST AID
Ambulance personnel will be in attendance.
It is a condition of entry that First Aid MUST be accepted wherever deemed necessary by the attending first aides. The Steward of the day has the right to refuse further racing of a rider if first aide requirements are not adhered to.
11.1 INJURIES
Riders transported to hospital must obtain a medical clearance which is to be produced on demand at the next race meeting.
11.2 AMBULANCE COVER
All riders are reminded that ambulance cover is compulsory as a condition of your licence. Cover must be maintained for the duration of your licence.
12. PARENT PARTICIPATION
Riders who intend to participate must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
12.1 FLAGS
Flaggies will be supplied.
13. NO HASSLE POLICY
Any rider or entrant or person associated with the rider or entrant shall conduct themselves in an orderly
manner. A rider shall be responsible for his own conduct and that of any person with whom he is
associated. Anyone who abuses or threatens personally or physically any official or any other person
present at the event shall lie deemed to be in Breach of this rule.
The Steward for a breach of this rule may impose PENALTIES on the day of this meeting i.e.:
*Reprimand or warning.
*Fine.
*Expulsion from the meeting.
All breaches will be reported to MWA for possible further action.
14. RIGHT TO USE IMAGE
It is a condition of entry that consent is given by the rider/entrant and/or parent/guardian for all the
photographs and electronic images (including moving images) that may be taken during the event by
or on the behalf of the promoter or with the permission of the promoter. All images are the property of
the promoter and will only be used in accordance with the Motorcycling Australia members policy and
for the purposes of promotional or other purposes without consent being required.
15. GENERAL RULES
15.1 No alcoholic beverages allowed in pits or racing circuit.
15.2 There will be no riding of bikes other than on the track.
15.3 Machines must be pushed to and from vehicles and in and out of the pits. Engine may be running to assist.
15.4 Dogs will not be permitted (except guide dogs).
15.5 Enclosed footwear must be worn in the pits at all times.
15.6 NO quads or scooters permitted within the pits.
15.7 This is a Smoke Free Event

a) “Claim” means and includes any action, suit, proceeding, claim, demand, damage, cost or expense however arising including but not limited to negligence but does not include a claim against a Motorcycling Organisation under any right expressly conferred by its constitution or regulation;
b) “Indemnitees” means and includes the persons, organisations and bodies corporate whose names appear in Schedule 1.
