Panda Windows & Doors exhibits state-of-the-art glass wall systems
at the 2017 NAHB International Builders Show in Orlando
Orlando, FL – 10/26/2017 – Panda Windows & Doors, a Las Vegas-based manufacturing company that specializes in custom glass wall systems, will be exhibiting its latest developments at the 2018 NAHB International Builders Show taking place in the Orange County Convention Center from January 9-11, 2018. The company will be showcasing six of its most contemporary glass wall systems which have all been designed to meet the demands of open floor-plans and custom architecture.
The All-Aluminum IMPACT Lift & Slide (IS.14) which features superior components engineered to endure large missile and hurricane impact will be showcased at the convention. Its oversized panels are designed to withstand Category 5 Hurricanes, tropical storms, high winds and driving rain, while standing up to coastal pressures such as corrosion, humidity and salt. In fact, the recent hurricanes, Irma and Harvey, on any of Panda's door that were installed in Hurricane Alley. 100% of Panda's doors went unscathed during both storms, leaving Panda door owners extremely statisfied.
The center of attention, however, is expected to fall over a giant 3-panel Lift & Slide door system that spans a 33’ wide by 9’ tall opening. This innovative model features a quiet motorized mechanism for smooth operation and sleek sightlines for wider views and a high-style contemporary look.
The HSW.TS60, thermally broken horizontal sliding wall, and the HSW.92, frameless glass wall system will also be exhibited at Panda’s booth. These systems create spaces that are functional and require a higher degree of customization, especially in the design of the stacking area. The HSW.92 is broadly used in applications such as storefronts where an all-glass system is required for window displays. In comparison, the HSW-TS60 offers superior weather resistance and protection for use in exterior applications.
Lastly, the company will be presenting its window wall FlexCounter™ solution which consists of a window and folding door combination designed to create stunning indoor-outdoor transitions and functional entertaining areas. This configuration runs along a recessed track for an unobstructed countertop surface on the window level and a barefoot friendly passage on the floor level. The window wall meets seamlessly, creating a stunning architectural statement, enhancing and increasing livable square footage in kitchens, bars and restaurants.
