OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL FUNDRAISER AWARD
This award is designed for an outstanding individual fundraising professional who practices his/her profession in an exemplary manner. Nominees are limited to AFP members only. (Nominators can be anyone). A list of AFP members is included with this form. Your nomination should include the following:
1. Description of career achievements, length of tenure of fundraising background, experience and results.
2. Evidence of quality leadership that is effective, creative and stimulating, and that the individual acts as a team player.
3. Membership in AFP and evidence that the individual practices and promotes the AFP Code of Ethical Principles and Standards of Professional Practice for fundraising professionals.
4. Description of individual’s commitment to continuing professional development, including certification (CFRE/ACFRE), conference participation, publication and professional education.
5. Evidence of commitment to fundraising and philanthropy through volunteer service and financial support of nonprofit organizations.
Please attach your responses in a summary format of no more than two pages. Enumerate each criterion and address each one separately in narrative form. Please write the narrative blindly (i.e. using “individual,” “person,” etc.)
