THE AAS FIRE ADMINISTRATION DEGREE AT ODESSA COLLEGE REQUIRES 60 SEMESTER CREDIT HOURS AS OUTLINED ON THIS DEGREE PLAN
NOTES:: / Substitutions of course work must be approved by department chair signature.
Students are advised to refer to the course descriptions for all courses identified in the degree plan to ensure they have completed the appropriate prerequisites. Students are accepted Into the program based on admission criteria and are encouraged to complete
NOTES:: the Emergency Medical Technician courses immediately after completing the Basic Firefighter Academy.
Upon successful completion of all Level-I – Basic Firefighter (FIRS) courses with a minimum grade of “C” in each course, the student will receive a course completion certificate issued by the TCFP approved Program Director and Coordinator, which is required for eligibility to test for certification with the Texas Commission on Fire Protection.
The College and/or Fire Program reserves the right to modify degree requirements based on approved curricular changes.
