Who can attend? / WHS Juniors, Seniors and their dates.
Date? / Friday, April 24, 2015
Time? / 7:00-11:00 pm.
Where? / 200 Peachtree, Atlanta, GA
What to wear? / Traditional Prom Attire- formalwear
Early Checkout? / WHS students who have purchased tickets will have early checkout on the day of Prom. Students MUST attend school until dismissal or they will be denied admittance.
Can I bring a date from another school? / YES! However, they must purchase a ticket and they must have ID. You must provide the name of your date for the sign in book. Your date may not be older than 21.
Drinks and Food? / Heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts and beverages will be provided for all attendees.
Theme? / GRAND CARNIVAL 2015
Prom Princess/Prince and King/Queen? / You will vote on King/Queen/Prince and Princess on April 17th and they will be crowned at the prom.
Can I drive there and park? / YES! There is ample self parking available for a fee.
Are parents allowed? / No. School personnel will chaperone.
Limousines? / Students may rent limos if they choose. Students are responsible to purchase and pay for them. It may be economical to rent a limo if you have a group large enough group to rent one.
Dinner? / There are lots of restaurants near the prom venue but remember, there will be food at the prom.
Pictures? / Professional photographers will be available at prom if you choose.
Male Dress Code? / Basic tuxedos or dress suits are appropriate for males. No jeans allowed.
Female Dress Code? / Dresses must be tasteful. Dresses cannot be shorter than what is permitted at school. Dresses may be sleeveless as long as they are not cut too low in the front. Dresses may also be backless as long as they are not cut too low in the back. The mid section cannot be exposed. **Even if you have purchased a ticket, you may be denied admittance if you are not dressed appropriately.
Directions? / The prom committee will provide you with directions prior to the event. Please check the school website.
Music? / A DJ will play current songs of representing all music genres.
Do I need additional money? / You may bring money for pictures and there will be a videobooth at the prom.
