We are looking for an experienced classroom teacher in the subject of Health & Social Care/Humanities. This job is about more than teaching. Beachcroft AP Academy, was judged as Good in all areas by Ofsted in December 2016, it is a primary and secondary alternative provision academy situated in Westminster. The academy supports approximately 75 learners who have experienced difficulties with their learning and behaviour in mainstream school. We also support learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan.
Learners are educated in small, well-supported groups and follow a broad curriculum of English, Maths, Science, ICT, Humanities, PE, Art, Life Skills/PHSE and Food Technology. Learners receive targeted support for literacy and numeracy and are able to access a range of therapeutic interventions. The academy works in close partnership with local schools, agencies and parents/carers to give the best support possible to its young people.
TBAP Multi-Academy Trust includes nine Academies which have been judged as 'good' or ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted. We deliver high quality Alternative and SEMH Provision across four London Boroughs and across Cambridgeshire. Additionally, we have a Teaching School Alliance that offers extensive CPD and research programmes at all levels. In September 2016, we opened an innovative new 16-19 Academic AP Free school, which provides an academic curriculum to enable learners to gain access to Higher Education. Additionally, two further academies opened in December 2017 located in Harlow and Warrington. TBAP Multi- Academy Trust are proud to hold a silver award from Investors in People.
