Course Description

Interactive Media is a career and technical education course that will prepare students for careers in business and industry working with interactive media products and services; which includes the entertainment industries. This program emphasizes the development of digitally generated or computer-enhanced products using multimedia technologies. Individual and project based learning is emphasized.

Course Objectives

  1. Develop vocabulary related to web design
  2. Create website structure
  3. Use tables and CSS styles and layouts for page design
  4. Collect data with forms
  5. Create and use templates
  6. Perform website maintenance
  7. Integrate contemporary software applications into business presentations.
  8. Plan business presentations and determine type of equipment to be used.
  9. Create, manipulate and edit objects, drawings and photos using software applications.
  10. Create, deliver and evaluate business presentations.
  11. Analyze audience to determine appropriate presentations.
  12. Recognize special and/or advanced software features as they relate to software certification.
