Allows either long or short sleeves, slightly gathered. The garment is knitted in stocking-stitch and has a narrow ribbed border trimmed with knitted lace edging, which extends around the borders and welt, giving a rounded finish to the bottom of the button/button-hole bands where they join the welt. The cuffs are also trimmed with lace edging.
