6. FINANCIAL SUPPORT
15 scholarships are offered by the TLI and the NUPS. Preference is given to members of national or ethnic, linguistic or religious minorities.
  • Ten partial scholarships cover the participation fee (tuition, accommodation, meals, and cultural events). The travel costs are not covered.
  • Five full scholarships for overseas applicants (outside the Council of Europe region) cover the participation fee (tuition, accommodation, meals, and cultural events) and the travel costs to Budapest (except airport transfer). VISA fees are not covered.

Applicants for scholarship are expected to have a provent interest or work in the field of minority protection and plans for future career where they can use the knowledge, contacts, and skills acquired. Besides, applicants are required to hold a short presentation during the summer school.
