DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supervised Plant Operation and Maintenance, Ensure that the operational reliability and availability is at the maximum if not 100% through actively participating in the improvement of the existing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Preventive Maintenance System (PMS) procedures while Maintaining the plant’s good housekeeping..
2. Ensure an efficient Power Supply to client - Solid Development Corporation (a Knitting/Cotton Factory) of San Ildefonso, Bulacan. Power supply passing thru 15MVA/69KV Substation, proper coordination during synchronization and emergency shutdown/line disturbance/power interruption.
3. Support and adhere to Mirant’s established safety and health policy in maintaining a zero man hour lost or a zero accident year. Take an active role in the environmental concern of the company.
4. Operate and Monitor Electrical , Mechanical and Instrumentation equipment and apparatus (Heat recovery boiler, Generators, Fuel and lube oil purifiers)
5. Performed preventive maintenance and corrective measures on Electrical, Mechanical, Instrument equipment and apparatus (Panels, Switch gears, Transformers, Auxiliaries, motors and its component, Battery and Charger/ UPS).
6. Operate and Monitor Reverse Osmosis Treatment Plant (R.O.). Conduct testing on the process water (conductivity and PH value).
7. Conduct periodic check up and testing on generator winding.( continuity and meggering test during shutdown/standby.
8. Performed electrical wiring termination and trouble shooting.

TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT
A. PINAMALAYAN DIESEL FIRED POWER PLANT
Pinamalayan Oriental Mindoro (for almost 1 year)
1. Supervised in the construction, erection, installation of cable Tray and instrument equipment and conduct cables laying, Cable pulling, Segregates: Power cables, Control cables and Instrument cables on its designated cable trays.
2. Conduct electrical wiring termination on (power cables, control cables and Instrument cables on its designated panels: Control panel, Engine gauge panel, Governor control panels, Auxiliary control panel and Instrument equipment.
3. Performed loop checking, continuity check and Meggering of all cables to ensure correct cables destination and to ensure no damage of the cables replace if necessary.
4. Conduct pre-commissioning of all equipment ( control panels, relays, circuit breakers, Motors And instrument equipment) such as: Transmitters, Pressure gauge, Pumps, Motors, Temperature switch, etc, to check and correct any discrepancies.
5. Conduct commissioning and test run of all equipment, all engine protections, Circuit breakers, Relays etc.
6. Supervised Plant operation on initial loading and fully operational.
7. Proper Coordination with client/customer (ORMECO)
B. BAGUIO CITY ECONOMIC ZONE
25/30 MVA, 69/13.8 KV SUBSTATION-(September 2003-February 2004)
1. Assist in commissioning of all equipment such as: ( Circuit breakers, Disconnect switch, metering equipment, Relays, Battery and UPS supply )
2. Monitor all Substation parameters and its auxiliaries and informed site OIC for any abnormalities monitored
3. Ensure correctness of data entered
4. Record and gathered all pertinent data during line disturbance and power interruption.
B. DISMANTLING OF BULACAN GENSET ( 4 x 3.75 MW)
1. Disconnect Power Supply to all panels ( GCP, EGP, GBCP, Boiler, Motors,
Auxiliaries, Switch Gears and Transformers
2. Tagging of all cables (power, control and Instrumentation)
3. Supervise in the cable pulling and dismantling of all cable trays and supports
4. Supervise in the dismantling of all panels and crating ready for shipment
