Entry Form – Best Financial Structure

For the purpose of these awards, a PPP is defined as public infrastructure using private finance in a long-term partnering agreement.

This category is for all financial transactions related to PPP projects in the EMEA regions. The judges will be looking for innovation in the financial structure of a transaction and this can includerefinancing and acquisitions.It is open for entries for transactions that were signed between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2017. Transactions can only be entered once during this two-year period.

Only one entry per project is permitted. If more than one entry is submitted all parties will be contacted to coordinate combining the forms.

Please attach a high resolution image of the project in either a jpeg format with a minimum of 300 dpi or eps to the email you send your entry form in with. In the event that you are shortlisted this image will be used to represent you in the AV presentation.

Please give an overview of the project and why it should win this award (minimum 600 words and maximum 1200 words).

Areas this could cover include:
· Innovation in the financial structure – what’s new or different about the deal?

· How the financial structure overcame challenges for the project/geography or client
· How the transaction got the best deal for the client
· Where the deal has created best practise for subsequent transactions

Some tips for a winning entry: You will be scored on this entry form, rather than any prior knowledge the judges have about the project so make sure you answer the criteria and use the full word count. The judges are looking for innovation so focus on what is new and different about the project.
