Identifying Independent and Dependent Clauses:

Task: Identify whether each clause is an I (independent) or a D (dependent) clause.

Reminder: A clause has a subject and a verb. An independent clause can stand on its own as a sentence. A dependent clause is an incomplete thought; it relies upon an independent clause to make sense.
