In response to the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (March 21, 2011), Essentials of Master’s Education in Nursing, the graduate faculty of the College of Nursing recommended and approved this nursing core course. The addition of this specific financial and health care economic content will enable the masters program to be congruent with content and topics found in the new essentials.6.
