·  "LynAry Park to Westchester Lagoon and return - 7am to 7:45am - 6 degrees - 1 trail user - one foot of fresh snow on unplowed trail with one foot wide worn path good for skiing, walking and snowshoeing (which I did). One big bull moose ran through tunnel at NW end of lagoon. Have a Merry Christmas!"

·  12/10/03 - LynAry Park to Weschester Lagoon and back - 6 am to 7am - 30 degrees & 2 in. new falling snow - 1/2 dozen users - ski tracks covered by new snow - skating area on lagoon covered with new snow - slushy spots, like overflow, noted (in the relative dark) on parts of the lagoon.

·  ""7p-8:30p Mon. 12/8 Baxter Bog andCheney Lake. No incidents. 1 other trail user. Packed trail for ski or hike. Some tricky cycle spots. OK."

·  "Campbell Creek Trail from Dimond to C Street, Dimond to King, 7:30 - 8 a.m.: No other trail users seen. Route is becoming undesirable for winter use, due to the fact that the creek bridge at C Street is still closed, and the Dimond detour is blocked by numerous snow berms. Perhaps a trail across the creek near C Street will develop as the ice thickens."

·  "12/3/03 - Coastal Trail from Weschester Lagoon to Earthquake Park - 6am to 7am - 0 degrees 10mph N wind - I saw no trail users, groomed trail with no (ski) tracks, good natural light w/ more than 1/2 moon and snow, good trail for skate skiing.
