54th Annual FFA Livestock Show and Sale
March 28th & 29th, 2014
Thank you for your interest in working with the Lamar High School FFA to sponsor our Annual
Show and Auction. Your support will go a long way towards contributing to a student’s college scholarship. This year, Lamar has over 100 student FFA members who will be showing a wide range of livestock and horticulture projects. These students have worked tirelessly to bring their projects to completion. We would be honored to have you as part of this wonderful program.
Our FFA Organization offers several options for participation as a sponsor. The following options are:
PLATINUM SPONSOR - $2,000 or Above
The sponsor receives:
· An Individual Sponsor Banner that will be hung in front of Lamar High School Show and Auction Tent (facing Westheimer and River Oaks Blvd.);
· A full page ad in our Show and Auction Program;
· Sponsor’s name listed on the Show and Auction Podium; and
· Six free tickets to our breakfast at the Show and Auction.
GOLD SPONSOR - $1,000 - $1,999
The sponsor receives:
· Sponsor’s name on the Sponsor Banner in front of Lamar High School Show and Auction Tent (facing Westheimer and River Oaks Blvd.);
· A full page ad in our Show and Auction Program;
· Sponsor’s name listed on the Show and Auction Podium; and
· Four free tickets to our breakfast at the Auction.
SILVER SPONSOR - $500 - $999
The sponsor receives:
· Sponsor’s name on the Sponsor Banner in front of Lamar High School Show and Auction Tent (facing Westheimer and River Oaks Blvd. );
· A half page ad in our Show and Auction Program;
· Sponsor’s name listed on the Show and Auction Podium;
· Two free tickets to our breakfast at the Auction.
BRONZE SPONSOR - $250 - $499
The sponsor receives:
· Sponsor’s name on the Sponsor banner in front of Lamar High School Show and Auction Tent (facing Westheimer and River Oaks Blvd.);
· A quarter page ad in our Show and Auction Program;
· Sponsor’s name listed on the Show and Auction Podium;
BUYER’S CLUB
A unique opportunity for a sponsor is to become a member of the Buyer’s Club. The Buyer’s Club accepts donations from individuals who purchase or may not want to purchase a project. Their donation becomes seed money to ensure that a student’s project meets the minimum bid amount that is set at the beginning of the auction. This minimum bid amount is intended to cover the student’s initial investment in their project. If a student’s project sells for less than the minimum set amount, then the Buyer’s Club money will make up the difference for the student. At the end of the auction, the Buyer’s Club’s funds will be divided and distributed evenly among the rest of the student projects. Feel free to donate any desired amount. It will be greatly appreciated and our students will have some money to contribute to their college scholarship fund.
