However, any funeral arrangement you select will include a basic service charge. If legal or other requirements require you to buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services selected.
This list does not include prices for certain items that you may ask us to buy for you such as cemetery or crematory services, flowers, and newspaper notices. The prices for these items will be shown on your bill or statement describing the funeral goods and services selected.
INTRODUCTION
In the past, funeral service pricing has been a relatively simple process. Under new funeral guidelines outlined by the Federal Trade Commission, many of the costs previously associated with a funeral service must now be listed separately. While this itemization of costs does not necessarily affect the total cost of a funeral, it may make selecting funeral services a somewhat more complicated process. In the long run, however, it should enable families to better understand the various expenses associated with a funeral. This price sheet presents our prices for various elements of our funeral service options. Our staff will assist you with all of your funeral arrangements, and will explain all the information contained in this general price list.
In general, there are six categories of costs associated with a funeral service. These are:
Funeral Service Options Casket Costs
Cash Advance Items Outer Burial Container Costs
Cemetery Charges Cemetery Memorials
The remaining pages of this price sheet contain a detailed breakdown of funeral costs and services. Our staff will also show you a copy of our Casket Price List and Outer Burial Container Price List, as it pertains to each of the above categories. Our staff will assist you in selecting the services you desire.
