BAGS2SCHOOLS
Apologies - please note that this collection will take place on Tuesday 21st October not Wednesday 1st October as previously published. / CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Tyrrell on the birth of Florence, a sister for Lily. (Mothers and Toddlers)
START OF THE DAY
Between 8.00 and 8.30am teachers are in their rooms preparing for the day. Children are invited to drop their bags in their rooms from 8.00 and then to go straight outside to the supervised play area. Please note that the Staff Meeting takes place every Tuesday from 8.00-8.30 in P2R. / END OF THE DAY
Thank you for helping to keep the corridors available until 3.15 as places to hear readers. If we can encourage the older children to meet you outside we may improve the crowding at the bottom of the stairs and enable children to get into the Hall to prepare for their clubs.
PARKING REMINDERS
Please use the playground car park in the mornings for dropping off your children as the staff use and fill the Dereham Road car park spaces. The staff car park is also very busy in the evenings but the playground car park is available this term until 5.45pm. If you a need swipe card for the automatic door please ask at the office. (£5 deposit) / RECYCLING BOXES
Mothers and Toddlers could use your unwanted green recycling boxes, preferably with lids. From October 1st all glass will be recycled via the main recycling bins and, as the boxes are not being recalled, some of you may be willing to donate them (cleaned) for the storage of toys for Mothers and Toddlers. Many thanks.
COATS AND BLAZERS
It is expected that all children will have a blazer at school each day and, now that the weather is likely to become cooler and damper, please send a named coat too, as we like to let the children out into the fresh air as much as possible where they can run off some of their energy ready to focus on lessons! / PARENTS' EVENING
Come and meet your child's teacher. Signup sheets are in the foyer offering times during the week beginning October 6th.
Monday and Tuesday for PP-P2
Thursday and Friday for P3-P6
I know you appreciate that teachers run an activity club and homework club each week, as well as completing their planning, teaching and marking, so if a meeting longer than 10 minutes is appropriate, teachers will make other arrangements with you.
LOST PROPERTY
If you find Door Cards that belong to others, please leave them in the office.
Beau Mitchell's PE shirt is missing.
PROMPT ARRIVAL
I know that early mornings are busy and some children are hard to dig out of bed! But daily friendships and classroom routines are established from 8.30am. Your children will feel more settled and ready to learn if they arrive before Assembly in time for registration at 8.40. / MESSAGE FROM PETRA BEZOVA-LYONS
