- national security as an object of research and the formation and implementation of national security policy (national security systemand crisis management; formation of internal national security system; legislationand strategy documents preparation; the armed forces of a democratic state participation in ensuring internal security)
- position and role of the armed forces in conflict prevention and resolution - requirements for current and future capabilities of the armed forces,
- contemporary security science and its development.
