At Sessay CE Primary School:

· We recognise that there are many benefits to ensuring that all children participate in sports or other physical activities:

o Supports the establishment of healthy lifestyles for life
o Helps in weight control, especially important in light of current levels of childhood obesity.
o Develops social skills especially team work

o It is fun!
· Our intention is to use additional funding in three ways:
o to broaden our provision to offer a wider remit of activities;
o to train staff so that the provision becomes sustainable into the future;
o to consolidate existing provision.
