Day 1 JAKARTA ON ARRIVAL
Arrival at Jakarta International Airport. Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Jakarta.
Day 2 JAKARTA - BANDUNG (B/L)
Moving towards Bandung, on the way visit TMII (Indonesian in Miniature Park), an extensive park to get a glimpse of the diversity of the Indonesian archipelago. Then continue to Bogor with its famous Botanical Garden with thousands of species of plant life from all over the world. Leaving Bogor, continue to Bandung passing along the beautiful scenery of tea plantation & scenic tropical beauty at Puncak mountainous region. Overnight at Bandung.
Day 3 BANDUNG (B/L)
Begin this day with a morning visit to Tangkuban Prahu, a volcano crater and natural hot spring resort in Ciater, here swim and bath in warm mineral water pools. In the afternoon spend the time to see the performance of -wayang golek- wooden puppet show and the -Angklung- bamboo orchestra, as well as the classical Sundanese gamelan and dances.
Day 4 BANDUNG - JOGJAKARTA (BY TRAIN) (B/L)
Start the day with scenic drive to Jogjakarta. Along the way you will discover picturesque landscapes. In the afternoon arrive at Jogjakarta direct transfer to hotel. Overnight at Jogjakarta.
Day 5 JOGJAKARTA (BOROBUDUR - CANDIREJO - CITY TOUR) (B/L)
Our highlights tours in Jogjakarta, the former Indonesia-s capital city, include its valuable and special places such as the 17th century Sultan Palace, Watercastle. Take the liberty of admiring for famous traditional handicraft works of Kotagede silver city, -wayang kulit- puppet leather & traditional batik home industry. Then enjoy a delightful scenic drive through villages and paddies area; exploring Candirejo village, a traditional Javanese village which is rich in irs natural surrounding and being promoted for village tourim, portraying traditional Javanese culture and day life through traditional houses, plantation resources, art performances, farming and local food. You will participate in daily social activities to feel their real traditional village atmosphere, their culture and lyfestyle. In the afternoon discover the extraordinary Borobudur temple, a world heritage built during the 8th century in the world, stroll through Borobudur's ten terraces and glance at its magnificent bas-reliefs and statues, which were buried under layers of volcanic ash for over ten centuries.
Day 6 JOGJAKARTA - PRAMBANAN - SOLO (B/L)Head for Solo on the way visit Java-s most interesting hindu shrine Prambanan temple as one of the most beautiful Hindu-s temple in the world, known as the Roro Jonggrang temple or the temple of the -Slender Virgin- with a famous of Ramayana story. Continuing for Solo city tour visiting royal Mangkunegaran Palace, a palace which blends European elegance with Javanese architectural style and with its fascinating display of gold-plated dance ornaments, jewelry and wooden mask and Triwindu flea market. Overnight at Solo.
Day 7 SOLO - MALANG (B/L)
Leaving Solo by car for Malang, drive take you through Java-s heartland passing endless teak forest and lush countryside. On the way stop off in Penataran temple, as one of the largest Hindu-s sanctuaries in East Java. In the afternoon arrive at a charmng town of Malang. Overnight at Malang.
Day 8 MALANG - BROMO (B/L)
In the morning Malang colonial city tour, drive around colonial building, beautiful parks, Ijen boulevard and visit a vibrant bird market. Later on the way to Bromo explore to Hindu temple of Singosari temple dated 14th century. Overnight at Bromo.
Day 9 BROMO - IJEN (B/L)
Early morning depart to Mt. Bromo, by jeep and horseback riding, crossing the sea of sand and climbing up to view the one of the most spectacular sunrise from the crest of the Bromo volcano. Enjoy the summit of Mt. Bromo! Admire the magnificent panorama over its caldera from the 2,000 m summit. Then back to the hotel. After breakfast, we take the scenic route with breathtaking views over mountains and along the sea. We follow the main road and through the delightful villages until Ijen, land producing tropical spices plantation. Overnight at Ijen / Ketapang.
Day 10 IJEN - GILIMANUK (B)
Early wake up and breakfast depart to Paltuding to the awesome beauty of Java-s wonder volcano Mt. Ijen through rural villages, coffee and clove plantations then into one of Java-s rainforest. Humidity, wildlife, giant ferns and big trees cover the slope of the mountain. From park rangers post walk up the Ijen plateau through the hilly landscape till to the crater edge. The stunning view is unveiled at 2883 m altitude. The reward of your effort is a breath taking morning view and during clear weather you may see the great sulfur lake. After enjoying the lake and the activities for the local sulphur mining at the lake shore, back down to the ranger-s post then drive on to Ketapang. Transfer to the port board the ferry to Gilimanuk (Bali) by crossing the Bali strait.
