REGISTRATION: Registration fee is $75.00. Each Court must register their six (6) principle officers for Midyear Workshop only: Most Ancient Matron, Senior Matron, Junior Matron, Joshua, Secretary and Treasurer whether in attendance or not. All Grand Court Elected and Appointed Grand Officers must register and adhere to the deadlines. The cutoff date for registration is August 11th. Please send all registrations to the Grand Court Secretary, Heroine Sharon Lucas P.O. Box 061436, Palm Bay, FL 32906. Money Orders or Court checks are to be made out to MAUGC-HOJ. Please when registering, use the form provided and print clearly. We are requesting the presence of All members. There will be no on-site registrations. Late registration fee is $85.00
PER THE GRAND HIGH PRIEST: Providing you are NOT a High Priest, King, Scribe or Deputy, all Joshua’s are asked to register with the Heroines of Jericho and not your Chapter.
ATTIRE: Appropriate Aprons are worn during Mid Year Work Shop. All Heroines are to wear white long sleeve suit or skirt and long sleeve white blouse, white hosiery and white shoes. If your court does not have aprons, robes for your specific office are permissible. Crown, white handkerchief and cord are a part of your regalia.
Royal G.E.M.s: We are extremely excited to have our Royal G.E.M.s with us this year again. Yes, they are back! Heroine Alice Jackson, Youth Directress has set goals with high expectations and adorations for our young ladies. Her quest to reclaim our youth has been heard across this jurisdiction. I invite you to our website where you will observe the curriculum that has been established pertaining to our young ladies. Yes, they are back and ready to participate in the 2018 Grand Youth Session!!!
EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING: Elected Grand and Past Grand Officers are requested to be in attendance at this meeting along with all District Deputies and those summoned by the Most Ancient Grand Matron. Location for meeting (TBA). Meeting time is at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 8th.
ANNUAL HONORS AND AWARDS BANQUET: In each Court there is that individual who has gone beyond the call of duty. There is also that particular Court that has labored in their community that deserves to be recognized. This is the time to give honor where honor is due. The names of these fully committed members and dedicated Courts must be in to the Grand Junior Matron by August 11th. Heroine Philomena Bodie is waiting on you to please send the names to her! Wow, we are ecstatic to find out who the winners are! Hopefully you created a Scrapbook to share with all at the Workshop. Please do not send your scrapbook to Grand Junior Matron. QUEEN CONTEST: “DIAMONDS & PEARLS” KING, QUEEN & PRINCESS CONTEST: Rare as diamonds, classy as pearls, there is nothing more precious than our Heroines, Companions and GEMS’ majestic swirl. This Royalty spectacle is sure to delight, so “bling out” your Denim and come enjoy the night. The contest will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. Hospitality will follow immediately after the contest. Each District will be represented by the District Deputy, so support your Deputy. Each Court is requested to report at least $500 to support the contest. Please contact your District Deputy for more information.
FINAL THOUGHTS: The death angel has taken away so many of our Heroines, Heroes and some family members. Please keep each other in prayer.
