RELAY FOR LIFE – Donna Darcy sent in the following report. Thank you to all the members who participated.
We and Our Neighbors was well represented at the Cambrian Relay for Life held at Union Middle School.
Members Carol Miller, Libby Stewart, Penny Canario, Sherry Carney, Alice Matson, June Gwartney, Mary Caddell and Marty Lux volunteered time at Registration, the Information Booth, as well as at the Union District Office Booth. Several members had also signed up as Survivors and enjoyed a lovely dinner and swag bag hosted by the Relay Organizing Team. At the end of the Relay $294,850 had been raised. Donations will continue to be collected until August 31.
