LAURELWOOD AT BAYSIDE LAKES HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
2010 Annual Meeting Minutes
June 30th, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Bayside Lakes Community Center located at
2051 Bramblewood Circle SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32909.
1. Welcome and call to order – The meeting was called to order at 7:23 P.M. by President Paula Widener.
2. Establish Quorum and Certifying of Proxies – Present were President Paula Widener, Vice-President Robert Hunt, Treasurer Ingrid Gaskins-Friar, Director Bob Johnson and Secretary Leslie Spain. There were 26 owners present or by proxy creating quorum for the annual meeting.
3. Proof of notice of meeting or waiver of notice – The meeting notice was mailed at 60 days and 30 days prior to the meeting. Affidavits for the mailing were provided by Patrick Longo from Space Coast Property Management.
4. Reading or waiver of Minutes – Paula moved to waive the reading of the 2009 Annual meeting and approve as written. Les seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
5. Appointment of Election Inspectors – Janine Henzell, Roxanne Matthews and Ruthann Hansen were appointed inspectors.
6. Election of Directors – Nominations from the floor were taken by President Paula Widener. The nominations included Paula Widener and Mark Everly. The votes were cast and the results were as such:
Clifford Cooper – 27 Votes
Ingrid Gaskin-Friar – 26 Votes
Robert Hunt – 27 votes
Johnny Lawson – 24 Votes
Mark Everly – 9 Votes
Paula Widener – 13 Votes
Paul Zima – 1 Vote
Ron Larson – 2 Votes
Roxanne Matthews – 1 Vote
Paula Zima – 1 Vote
The 2010 board of directors is Clifford Cooper, Ingrid Gaskin-Friar, Robert Hunt, Johnny Lawson and Paula Widener.
