Your time and help are greatly needed and appreciated! Please put a check mark beside the activity or activities for which you are interested in volunteering. You will be contacted by the committee chairperson at the beginning of the school year or when your committee starts planning.
____ Academic Recognition(Chairperson: Mimi Paxson) Assist with planning and organizing of Lion’s Pride Awards and Honor Role receptions.
____ Apparel Sales (Chairperson: Diana D. Le) Assist with the selling and distribution of PTO-sponsored Dowell spirit wear clothing, etc.
____ Book Fair(VP/Volunteers: Clara Rankin)Assist the librarians in the Fall by helping students select books in the morning and during the school day.
____ Copy Room(VP/Volunteers: Clara Rankin)Assist asan office volunteer, helping in the teacher workroom by making copies or laminating items for the teachers.
____ Campus Improvement (Chairperson: Jamie Burnett) Assist with beautifying the school both inside and outside. Assist with the scheduling of clubs / students to maintain gardens and with other similar projects around the school.
____ Hospitality (Chairperson: Marla Helterbrand) Assist by providing refreshments for Principal’s Coffees and other similar events throughout the year.
____ Roar Store (Chairperson: Richelle Terry) Assist at the PTO fundraising store which is open for 15 minutes during dismissal on designated days.
____ School Supplies(Chairpersons: Stacy Alexander &Tara Alt) Assist in preparing school supplies for distribution on Meet the Teacher night.
____ Teacher Appreciation (Chairpersons: Delia Ferguson & Emily Kiger) Assist committee chairpersons with staff lunches during special times of the year.

____ 6th Grade Mixers (Chairpersons: Julie Murrah & Jennifer Harry) Assist with the planning and execution of 2 fun 6th grade events.
____ 7th Grade Mixers (Chairperson: Rafael Smith) Assist with the planning and execution of 1 - 2 fun 7th grade events.
____ 8th Grade Farewell (Chairpersons: Angie Rucker, Deana Isbell & Leslie Davis) Assist with 8th Grade graduation and Field Day.
