Pursuant to ARS 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Coolidge Unified School District and to the general public that the District’s Governing Board will hold a meeting open to the public on the date, time and place listed above.

II.PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

The Arizona Open Meeting Law allows the Governing Board of Education to hear concerns from parties, but does not allow the Board to discuss or take any action without the item having been part of the regularly posted agenda. The Board may remand the concern to the Superintendent for investigation, action, or recommendation at a future board meeting.

  1. Approval of expenses and overnight travel for Jadee Rohner and Elizabeth Skornik, FFA Advisors, Coolidge High School, to attend the “Arizona Ag Teachers Association” conference August 19th, through August 20th, 2016 in Tucson, Arizona.
  1. Approval of expenses and overnight travel for the CHS Football team to attend the River Valley Football game on Friday, August 19th, 2016, but will arrive on Thursday, August 18th, 2016.
  1. Approval of expenses and overnight travel for Nighly Gillespie, FBLA Advisor, to attend the “FBLA Teacher Leadership Conference” Friday, August 26th, 2016 through Saturday, August 27th, 2016 in Prescott, Arizona.
  1. Approval or release time and expenses for out of state travel for Jadee Rohner, Ag Instructor, one male chaperone, and six students to attend the FFA National Convention in Indianapolis, IN, October 18th through October 22nd, 2016.
  1. Approval of release time and expenses for overnight travel for Polly Abraham, CTE Supervisor, to attend the Association for Career & Technical Education/Arizona Council of Vocational Administrators (ACTEAz/ACOVA) Mid-Winter Conference and local Director’s meeting November 2nd through November 4th, 2016 in Prescott, Arizona.
  1. Approval of Alyssa Unger as the Coolidge Unified School District Student Activities Treasurer and Yolanda Felix as the assistant Student Activities Treasurer for fiscal year 2016-2017.
  1. Approval of the stipend list for fiscal year 2016-2017.
  1. Approval of the Coolidge Unified School District 2016-2017 Student Code of Conduct Handbook.
  2. Approval of the 2016-2017 organizational chart.

  1. Introduce, discuss, amend if desired, and act on a resolution allocating the indebtedness of the outstanding general obligation bonds of Coolidge Unified School District No. 21 (the “District”) between the District of Florence Unified School District No. 1 of Pinal County, Arizona (“FUSD”).
  1. Information and discussion regarding the fiscal year 2016-2017 property tax rate.
  1. Discussion and possible action to approve the Sole Source purchases from Opnock for fiscal year 2017.
