Meeting of September 21, 2007
That the agenda for the September 21, 2007 meeting of Education Council be adopted with the following amendment:
· Move Stan Bevan to Pending Items for October
That the Minutes of the August 28, 2007 meeting of Education Council are accepted as presented with the following amendments:
· Rewording of Doug’s observation under 2. I. inserting “all of” and “perfect” and fix typo in the last paragraph of same.
· Change wording of Motion 3. II. Removing “in principle as presented” and replacing with “as presented with suggested revisions”.
On behalf of the Articulation and Curriculum Committee I recommend approval of prerequisite changes to Electrical Foundation to English 10 or ENGL 030 or ENGL 032 and Math 10 Principles or MATH 0302 or MATH 032 or satisfactory placement on the CAT III assessment effective September 2008.
On behalf of the Articulation and Curriculum Committee I recommend approval of prerequisite changes to HSRC 132-1.0, Work Role: Intro to Home Support and Resident Care Attendant Practices (To read in Colleague: Work Role Intro HSRC Practices), with prerequisites Engl 10 or ENGL 030, effective January 2008.
