PERSONAL PROFILE

Whilst at the University of Sussex, I co-produced, directed and presented an extra-curricular video study of bias in news reporting which comprised interviews with a wide range of national media practitioners. In addition, I co-produced and presented a popular weekly breakfast radio show. Since studying for my degree in English with Media Studies, I have sustained a particular interest in the sociology of the media, and in twentieth century fiction. At the University of Sheffield, I organised and hosted two highly successful international evenings as a member of the Department of Information StudiesÕ social committee.
