NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE
COMMISSIONERS COURT OF SAN AUGUSTINE COUNTY, TEXAS
Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the above named Commissioners Court will be held on Tuesday, the 13thday of August, 2013, at 9:00 o’clock A.M. in the Commissioners Court Room at 100 W. Columbia, Room 103, San Augustine, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be discussed, to-wit:

3. Citizen Presentations: At this time, any person not scheduled on the agenda with business before the Commissioners Court may speak to the Court. No formal action can be taken on these items at thismeeting. Please limit to two minutes each.
4. Accept and approve petitions for local option election to legalize “The legal sale of beer and wine for off-premise consumption only” in Justice of Peace, Precinct 3, San Augustine County. – Election Administrator Woods
5. Accept and approve petitions for local option election to legalize “The legal sale of mixed beverages in restaurants by food and beverage certificate holders only” in Justice of Peace, Precinct 3, San Augustine County. – Election Administrator Woods

11. Discuss and consider the Sheriffs’ and Constables’ Fees update. - County Clerk Noble
12. Discuss and take action on raising archive fees and record preservation from $5 to $10. – County Clerk Noble

14. Discuss and consider changing the meeting time of September 10th Commissioners Court to 10:30 am. – Judge Johnson
15. Open Meeting to discuss tax rate.
16. Accept the certified appraisal roll.
17. Certification of anticipated collection rate by Tax Assessor/Collector.
18. Certification of excess debt collections by Tax Assessor/Collector.
19. Submission of calculations of effective and rollback tax rates by Tax Assessor/Collector.
20. Discuss a proposed tax rate, if proposed rate exceeds the lower of the effective or rollback rate, take record
vote of governing body to propose a tax increase on a desired rate, schedule 2 public hearings.
21. Authorize repair of lights at airport to be paid 50/50 by RAMP Grant. – Sandy Jenkins
22. Adopt and sign the Order Prohibiting Outdoors Burning. – Judge Johnson
23. Present and accept letter from Veterans County Service Officer Roger Holt. – Judge Johnson
24. Discuss and take action on the Commissioners’ Road Report for Precinct 1 and Precinct 2. – Judge Johnson
25. Discuss and consider the selection of Appraisal District Directors for 2014-2015.
26. Discuss and consider Social Service Center facility. – Judge Johnson
27. Executive session to receive legal advice, to discuss personnel matters, and to discuss legal issues pertaining to pending
contract. No vote of final action may be taken in a closed meeting.
