We are looking for an enthusiastic full time, IT Technician to work across both our Guisborough and Stockton campusesas part of a busy IT Support Team. In addition to this role, you will also carry out the role of Health & Safety Co-ordinator at the Stockton campus.
You will have excellent customer support skills and need to liaise with students, staff and contractors. The work is wide ranging and you will need to have both relevant practical skills and the ability to deploy and support a variety of digital technologies. You will have a keen interest in technology and be able to carry out maintenance on software systems as well as undertaking standard tasks associated with a busy IT support team.
As Health & Safety Co-ordinator, you would be responsible for ensuring that Health & Safety is implemented correctly and effectively on the Stockton campus. You will need to be organised and proactive, and have the ability to recognise potential hazards and apply common sense and reasonableness to any judgements. Previous experience of a Health & Safety role is not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.
Salary Scale: SFCA Support Staff Pay Spine, Points 26-28, plus an off sale payment for the role of Health & Safety Co-ordinator
Actualstarting salary:£20,924 per annum, plus an off scale payment of £2,150 per annum
