This NEW Fáilte Ireland business supports workshop addresses the issues surrounding that age old challenge of seasonality, while keeping an eye on the bottom line! Engaging and interactive, the experienced facilitators will ensure you address all the key implications for your tourism business and help you put what you learn into practice as soon as you've finished the workshop!

  • “Selective Tourism” - Brainstorming new market and segment opportunities in the off season
  • Developing destination experiences and events that are not season dependent
  • Developing a strong online and offline message to target business in the off season
  • Top tips to compel visitors to book with you in the off season.

Workshop details

One full day, 10.00am – 4.30pm, maximum number of participants is 14

One on one 30 minute clinics available immediately post the training and the following morning and will be arranged by the trainers on a first come, first served basis. Details of the workshop are as follows:

Owners and managers of businesses in destinations who wish to learn about new opportunities to extend the tourism season.

Cost

This workshop is fully subsidized by Failte Ireland and includes both the training and a 30 minute one on one clinic with a financial trainer and a 30 minute one on one clinic with a sales trainer. Depending on demand, clinics will take place on the evening of the training day and the following morning. They will be organised on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. A light lunch and refreshments are included on the training day.
