The Programme Support Team, within the International Programmes Unit works to support our global hubs in the implementation and quality of the DFID-funded International Citizen Service (ICS) and wider volunteer-led programmes. Working closely with teams in 7global hubs, including the UK, we lead the global vision of ICS and drive high quality delivery of the programme through strong support and coordination.
As part of a VSO-led consortium we will provide structured opportunities for thousands of young people from the UK and global South to work together to address some of the world’s most pressing issues on the ground while developing a generation of active, global citizens.
The Programme Support Coordinator is integral to ICS delivery and programme quality and to our support to our global hubs.

KEY PRIORITIES
1.ICS Project Coordination (70%)
●Oversee delivery of all aspects of ICS, alongside a second Programme Support Coordinator, to ensure compliance with all ICS minimum standards.
●Build strong relationships with ICS teams in the UK and in-country, providing structured support to ensure quality of the volunteer journey from recruitment to alumni engagement.
●Ensure ICS monitoring and reporting and communications data is captured, of high quality and regularly updated, within the ICS (salesforce) database and other team tracking mechanisms.
●Induct and provide ongoing support and training for in-country ICS staff in the delivery of the ICS programme.
●Work closely with the Safety and Security Team to ensure the safety, security and wellbeing of all staff, volunteers and stakeholders on the programme.
●Work closely with the Programme Support Team to ensure high quality delivery of the ICS programme across global hubs.
2. Innovation and use of learning (10%)
●With support of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager, identify and deliver additional projects to improve the quality of Youth Programme delivery.
●Identify trends and ways to share successes, challenges and innovations with the Programme Support Team and wider Agency.
●Work closely with a second Programme Support Coordinator to ensure a streamlined and coordinated approach to supporting ICS teams.
3. Data Management and Analysis (10%)
●Compile and share key data and information with the rest of the Programme Support Team and wider delivery teams in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
●Support ICS teams to analyse and use programme data and information.
●Oversee the ICS Database and ensure that it is fully up to date and utilised across teams while maintaining and developing various performance dashboards.
4. Team Responsibilities (10%)
●Support and represent the wider Programme Support Team in agency-wide processes such as strategic planning for the ICS programme.
●Alongside other Restless Development teams, work to build broaderorganisationalcapacity in youth programming through researching and sharing best practice, conducting staff inductions and trainings and representing Restless Development at relevant external events.
●Support the creation of reports and presentations on global ICS performance to support regular Programme Support and Management teams in decision making.
5. Other
●Other duties as required.
●You will occasionally be required to work on weekends and/or public holidays, for which time off in lieu will be granted.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential / ●Graduate level degree in relevant field of study, or equivalent work experience
●Demonstrated experience in project coordination
●Volunteer management or youth-work experience, preferably in international settings
●Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including experience of presenting, public speaking and training delivery
●Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
●Excellent problem solving skills
●Good IT skills with competence in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
