The Ramsay Practice is a new practice which has recently formed from a previous established practice. The semi-rural practice is based within the coastal, sea-side, town of Burntisland Fife and provides nGMS services to a practice population of approximately 1500 patients. We are based within a purpose built health centre and are completely paper light using both the Emis and Docman clinical systems. We are high QOF achievers, provide a wide-range of enhanced services and have excellent nursing and administrative support. The workload involved within the practice is of a good, manageable, level allowing for a good home-work life balance and we are proud to be the highest scoring practice for patient satisfaction within Fife based on repeated patient surveys.

We have a number of positions available:

Position 1:1 x Salaried General Practitioner (6 sessions per week)

Position 2:1 x Salaried General Practitioner (4 sessions per week)

Position 3:2 x Salaried General Practitioners (5 sessions per week)

Annual Salary:£62000.00 - £75000.00 FTE (based on pro rata of sessions and experience)

Golden Hello:A Golden Hello is available subject to NHS Fife terms and conditions.

We would be eager to hear from general practitioners who are committed to providing high quality care and are keen to assist with the development of this new practice. You will be fully supported regarding your own professional development with 5 study days per year. Clinical support will be available through monthly clinical team meetings involving the practice clinical partner whilst administrative support will be provided by the practice business partner. Protected time will be given each month to allow for uninterrupted administrative time in relation to both QOF and enhanced service work. You will be entitled to 30 days annual leave (pro-rata) and all medical defence fees will be met by the practice.

The above positions would be ideally suited to a recent GP trainee who wishes to have the autonomy of independent clinical practice without the onerous additions of being a partner or, conversely, for a current partner wishing to step down their level of commitment.
