SPORTS

TRACK AND FIELD

The Track-and-Field season is rapidly approaching, and what better way to prepare for the upcoming season than to start pre-conditioning in January! Your Track-and-Field coaches will offer pre-conditioning drills and exercises on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays of each week, beginning on January 9th., and will continue throughout the following weeks until the official start of the season on February 5th. Pre-conditioning workouts will start at 3:00 p.m. and will meet on the athletic field. An informational meeting for the track-and-field team will be held in late January, so stay tuned for that announcement, as it will be posted in the Student Bulletin in the near future. There is a theory that participating in track-and-field events can make you more intelligent. Although it is an unproven theory, it might actually be true, so why not come out and see for yourself? Hey, it’s worth a shot!
