Subject: Questions and Answers
1. The sample must be submitted with bid before opening date?
Answer: No, if samples are requested you will be notified.
2. Can we email the bid to you?
Answer: No, no electronic bids.
3. Could you please tell me the latest bidding price ofall items? When last bid opened?
Answer: No, please submit an open records request.
4. Do you have picture of all line items? Without photos we can’t quote exact price.
Answer: No, pictures are not available.
5. Is it one time delivery? Always to the same delivery address? Could you please tell me the delivery address?
Answer: Any orders submitted through the departments will need a PO delivered to 1500 S. Main Street, Fort Worth, TX 76104. Any orders submitted by employee’s individually will be delivered to their home addresses.
6. For the apparel items will you accept an equivalent substitute for the Element, Firenza, and Port Authority items?
Answer: Yes
7. I would like to request a vector file of your logo in full-color to include PMS #’s for each color as well as the one-color version of your logo.
Answer: The Communications & Community Affairs department has provided a style guide for vendors. The Style Guide is attached.
8. How many colors are you wanting on imprinted items? One color or full color logo?
Answer: This will vary. We would like the option of providing a one color imprint and a full-color imprint with pricing for both options.
9. Can I get a copy of the logo so I can send to some of my vendors to get you better pricing?
Answer: The Communications & Community Affairs department has provided a style guide for vendors. The Style Guide is attached.
10. On the t-shirts and jackets, are you wanting them screen printed or embroidered, and do you want the front and back or just the front done?
Answer: Embroidery is preferred on the jackets. Screen printing is acceptable for t-shirts, with the exception of polo shirts. Polo shirts will require embroidery as well.
11. Is it possible to pictures and item numbers but not from a vendor’s website but from a suppliers site?
Answer: Unfortunately, we are not able to provide photos.
12. Please confirm the “Response Deadline” - it appears as 7/26 on pages 1,6 and a deadline of 7/27 on page 5.
Answer: The Response Deadline is July 26, 2017, 2:00 p.m.
13. Can you supply item numbers / product ID’s and Images of each item?
Answer: Unfortunately, we are not able to provide photos.
14. On the Quotation spreadsheet, under the heading “Price per each including JPS logo” … Please verify if pricing is to reflect the JPS Logo as multiple-colors or a single-color logo?
Answer: We would like the option of providing a one color imprint and a full-color imprint with pricing for both options.
15. Specific to wearables, canvas bag, Duffel bag, Diversity/Messenger bags … Please verify (1) if pricing is to reflect embroidered or screen printed logos and (2) single-color logo or multiple-color logo?

16. Item 9 – Quantity shows as ‘Zero’, No defined Sizing
Answer: disregard anything with ‘zero’
17. Item 18 – Notepads, can you please provide specifications?
Answer: varies

19. Items 29 - 31, can you please provide specifications? Also 29 & 31 show the same description.

20. Items 48-49 have the same description, Please specify with more detail

21. Items 33-35 & 66 – Size and product details of pins?

23. On line item 29 “pocket pall 10 Setps to LOS- Is there a specific size for Pocket Pal to be listed, or should it be the same as items 31 and 32?
Answer: same as 31 & 32
24. On line item 27 Core Soft Shell Jacket XLG BLK which size does “XLG” refer to? Sizes S-3X are listed, but not sure of XLG.
Answer: Extra large
25. On line item 48 and 49 both descriptions cite diaper bags, does the quantity of 500 belong to the diapers or the diversity ribbons?
Answer: diapers
26. On the pricing it ask for pricing to be with JPS logo. Do we price as one color logo on all items? Or full color? Also, in the RFP it asks for freight pricing but there is no column on the pricing sheet for that. Do I just add a column?
Answer: We would like the option of providing a one color imprint and a full-color imprint with pricing for both options. You may add a column for freight pricing as well.
27. Do you want pricing on all items or is it sufficient to give you some pricing and much information regarding our company and how we might be a good fit for this RFP?
Answer: Pricing on all items will suffice.
28. Will multiple promotional product suppliers be awarded this contract, i.e. will there be a few “approved vendors”?
Answer: One supplier will be selected.
29. Do you have an estimate of how many samples have been asked for over the past term? Requiring samples at absolutely no cost to the inquirer could become very costly to a distributor when you factor in shipping costs, especially.
Answer: Upon setting up the online store, the Communications & Community Affairs will require one sample of all items with the JPS logo for approval.
All corrections, changes, additions, revisions, and/or clarifications in this Addendum #1 to the
RFP are hereby made a part of the RFB/RFP for #TM-0456 Promotional Products.
All Respondents to the RFB/RFP shall acknowledge receipt and acceptance of this Addendum #1 by
signing in the space provided and submitting the signed Addendum #1 with the RFB/RFP.
Proposals submitted without an executed copy of this Addendum #1 attached may be considered
informal and may be rejected.
