WELCOME: We welcome to the parish Rev. Thomas McHugh recently ordained deacon for our diocese who is here for three weeks student placement. Thomas is from the south Derry end of our diocese and has one more year of studies in Maynooth before being ordained a priest next summer, D.V. As a deacon he will be preaching at our Sunday Masses, visiting schools, visiting the sick and also administering the sacrament of Baptism while with us.

SPIRITFEST ARMAGH July 1-3

The diocesan conference on Prayer, Spiritfest, takes place in St. Catherine’s College, Armagh next weekend.

Speakers have been engaged for a number of workshops, telephone

Friday night includes a Taize prayer session at 7.30pm in St. Catherine’s and the Three Priests will lead sacred music and prayer in the Cathedral

on Saturday evening at 7.30pm.

Sunday is family day and parents are encouraged to bring their children along as the Youth Commission is supplying a programme for the

various groups (4 – 18 yrs). The concluding Eucharist will be in the Cathedral at 3pm.
