PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To manage logistics and planning activities for the Coleraine business and external warehouses ensuring continued optimisation of both resources and activities to business targets
Standardisation and improvementof supply chain processes
Key Responsibilities
1 / Responsible for attaining the site KPI’s with the team and delivering ongoing performance on time and in full. Ensure all systems and procedures and in place to deliver effective performance
2. / In conjunction with the Supply Chain Manager taking day to day responsibility for
  • Management and development of the Supply Chain team on site
  • Provide directional support to the team

3. / Through the use of root cause analysis review current procedures and practices within production planning, production scheduling, material call off and dispatching. Develop recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of each area and see these through to implementation and post implementation review
4. / Maintain the appropriate level of manpower and equipment resourcesto ensure service level and costs are optimised in servicing the Production Stream
5. / Maintain open communication channels and act as a key link for central Purchasing, Demand Planning, Finance and Central Supply Chain for information on volumes and issue resolution

Proficient written, numerical and

Experience in a consumer goods
