HE APPEARED FIRST TO A FORMER DEVIL POSSESSED WOMAN
Mark 16:9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
ALL OF HIS DISCIPLES BELIEVED THAT SOMEONE STOLE HIS BODY
John 20:2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.

EDUCATED FOLK WILL CALL US CRAZY FOR BELIEVING IN IT
Acts 17:18 Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.
Acts 17:32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.
Acts 26:6-8 And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers: Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews. Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?
Acts 4:1-2 And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them, Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
THE APOSTLES WERE ORDAINED TO BE WITNESSES OF HIS RESURRECTION
Acts 1:22,26 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
PAUL WAS THE LAST PERSON ON EARTH THAT EVER SAW THE RESURRECTED CHRIST
1 Cor 15:7,8 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

THERE ARE TWO RESURRECTIONS COMING UP
John 5:28-29 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
THOSE IN THE FIRST RESURRECTION WILL NOT BE INFLUENCED BY DEATH EVER AGAIN
Rev 20:4-6 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
THE HOLY SPIRIT RAISED UP JESUS CHRIST AND WILL ALSO RAISE YOU UP
Rom 8:10-11 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
OUR RESURRECTION WILL BE LIKE JESUS CHRIST’S
Rom 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
THE SAVED ARE ALSO KNOW AS “THE CHILDREN OF THE RESURRECTION”
Luke 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
THERE IS NO MARRIAGE FOR THOSE THAT ARE RESURRECTED
Matt 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
JESUS CHRIST IS ACTUALLY “THE RESURRECTION” (THE AUTHOR AND CAUSE OF IT)
John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
JESUS CHRIST’S RESURRECTED BODY IS STILL ON EARTH IN THE TYPE OF THE CHURCH
John 2:19-22 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said
HIS RESURRECTED BODY (AND OURS) CAN DISAPPEAR IN AN INSTANT

HIS GLORIFIED RESURRECTED BODY COULD BE TOUCHED, AND STILL HAD HIS WOUNDS
John 20:26,27 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
OUR RESURRECTED BODY WILL BE IN CONFORMITY WITH CHRIST’S GLORIFIED BODY
1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Phil 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
ONE MUST BELIEVE IT IN ORDER TO BE SAVED
Rom 4:21-24 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
1 Cor 15:13,14,17 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

John 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
