13th International Conference on Culture Collections (ICCC13)

BRCs in the era of microbial genomics and diversity driven innovation of biotechnology

BEIJING, CHINA

On behalf of the World Federation for Culture Collections (WFCC), the 13th International Conference on Culture Collections (ICCC13) will be held in the city of Beijing, China from September 23 to 27, 2013 at Beijing Friendship Hotel. Laboratory-based training courses will be carried out on September 22, 2013 at Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Science (IMCAS).

ICCC13 will be financially supported by WFCC, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and National Natural Science Foundation of China, and other possible sponsors from industries and other organizations. 10 participants from developing countries will obtain financial support by waiver of accommodation and registration fees.

It will be an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues and experts in the field of culture collection, bioinformatics and biotechnology. We look forward to hosting you in Beijing!

Beijing Weather in September

The average low and high temperatures are 14 °C (57 °F) and 26 °C (79 °F). The rainy season has ended, so Beijing is back to its usual dry conditions.

Some tips for Electricity Use in China

In Mainland China, the voltage is generally 220V, 50HZ and AC. So bring an adapter with you if needed.
