Campers invited: 2nd-7th grade(2014-2015 school year)

Camp Cost: $40

Camp includes:

  • School busing to H.S. after school
  • Snack
  • Camp T-shirt
  • Instruction from Algonac coaches of all levels
  • Introduction to fundamental football skills
  • Introduction to position play
  • Introduction to the Veer offense and the 6-1 defense
  • Punt, Pass and Kick competition
  • Flag football games

What you will need to bring:

  • Shorts & T-Shirt (wear to school if possible)
  • Cleats or tennis shoes (if it rains we will be in the HS gym with tennis shoes on)
  • Water bottle if needed

Camp Details

Athletes will be bused from schools and dropped off at the high school. They will be given a snack and time to change if they need to before the camp starts. Camp will end daily at 6 p.m. Parents are expected to pick up and sign out their athletes at football practice fields located behind the high school. If you do not pay when you send paperwork in, please see coach Barnhart on Monday to complete payment.

Checks payable to “Muskrat Touchdown Club”. Major credit cards will be accepted on location.

I approve of my child’s attendance at the Mini Muskrat Football Camp and certify that s/he is in good health and able to participate in all activities. I (am/am not) attaching a statement explaining special physical limitations and/or required medication. Please indicate if your child suffers from allergies, asthma, diabetes, restricted activities, etc. In further consideration of Algonac Community Schools accepting this application, I hereby agree to save and indemnify and keep harmless Algonac Community Schools, it agents and employees against any and all liability, claims, judgments or demands for damages arriving as a result of injuries sustained by the applicant during or as a result of any course given the applicant by Algonac Community Schools. Furthermore, as the parent/legal guardian for this child, I understand it is my responsibility to provide Algonac Community Schools with a complete and valid physical examination for this camper prior to the start of camp.
