Students will copy notes from Chapter 8, sections 1, 2 and 3. Example problems will be demonstrated by the teacher. Students will ask questions as needed. Teacher will circulate to assess that students are on task.

3/2: Upon completion of Lesson 8-1, students will be asked to give real life examples of lines, rays, segments, etc. Students will share their findings with the rest of the class
3/3 Upon completion of lesson 8-2, students will be asked to create a list of objects in the classroom that have right, acute, obtuse, and straight angles.
3/4 Upon completion of Lesson 8-3, students will create a road map. Students will need to create streets that parallel, perpendicular, and adjacent.
3/5: Today students will be completing the map activity from yesterday’s lesson. Upon completion, students will be reviewing for tomorrow’s chapter 8 quiz.
3/6: Today students will spend the first half of class reviewing for today’s chapter 8 quiz. Students will spend the second half of class taking their chapter 8 quiz, sections 1, 2, 3
