(1)When dampers are in the closed position the poppet blades will be exposed to these conditions.Since the dampers must open outward and away from the flue the damper actuator will have to overcome the negative draft pressure in the flue. The actuator is sized, by the Contractor, to open against a -6.5 kPa(g) pressure.
