We’re offering mobile products for teachers and students that deliver core instruction, extend learning with supplemental prep and practice, and support teachereffectiveness and their best practices for implementing our digital curriculum programs in the classroom.PearsonSchool offers several categories of mobile products:

  1. eText for iPad
    Our new eText for iPad technology brings our world-class textbook products to mobile devices. This fall, Pearson will publish more than 300 eText for iPad titles, including our new math and literacy Common Core programs.

  1. Dash support apps for teachers
    Short for ‘dashboard’, Dash is a mobile application designed specifically for teachers. Dash provides next generation teacher support by bringing together into one mobile device newly designed teacher content and services. By providing anytime, anywhere, always-on access to our materials as they prepare for instruction, Dash gives teachers the ability and power to be mobile with the content and tools that help them teach. It allows teachers to easily call up information and strategies to help them respond specifically to the teaching situation they face. For the first time, teachers can really move around the classroom with the teacher support materials that help them implement our programs and their instruction.
  1. Practice and prep apps for students

For students, we’re designing mobile content and tools to be engaging and to extend the learning experience into informal environments for more opportunities to learn and practice. To date, PearsonSchool has released more than 40 mobile apps for students that leverage the unique capabilities of mobile technology to inspire the learning experience. These apps offer skill building, test prep and assessment content that complements instruction in the eTexts and digital courses.
