Welcome to worship

Prayer for 10 minutes, 10.15 - 10.25am in Room 1, to pray for those taking part in the service. Do come and join us when you can.

Large print hymn books and sheets are available.

Loop system for those with hearing aids.

Small children are welcome to join our supervised crèche in Room 1. Toys are available in the welcome area for parents who wish to play with their children whilst listening to the service.

The candle prior to worship is a sign that we should keep

a prayerful silence.

After morning service, please join us for refreshments in the Hall and visit the Fairtrade stall. The ‘Good News Book’is available for use.

Monday, 1st May, 10am – 4pm – May Day Refreshments

At Salisbury URC, Fisherton Street

Come and enjoy morning coffee, light lunches, and afternoon teas. Bring your children to play and make May Day ribbon sticks, Lego, colouring, and word searches.

Thursday, 4th May, 7pm for 7.30pm – Sarum Concern for Israel / Palestine

At Sarum College. A showing of two short films: The Forgotten (Palestinian refugees in the Lebanon) and Children in Chains (the abuse of Palestinian children in the Israeli Military Court System), followed by discussion with filmmaker, Jon Pullman from Edinburgh. All welcome. Christian Aid works with local Lebanese and Palestinian refugee organisations and with human rights organisations throughout the Middle East.

Sunday, 14th May – Celebration Lunch

Luke Martyn Browncross Piper will be baptized at morning worship. Helen and Jon would like to invite everyone to join them for a sandwich lunch in the church hall after the service, starting from 12.30pm. We would be delighted if all could celebrate with us.

There is an opportunity to join the team who run SP2 coffee shop and community centre. If you love people, building community, coffee and cake this could be just the job for you.
