Q1 Qualifications
We are looking for active and updated coaches with a minimum of British Canoeing Level 3 Coach, or British Canoeing Level 2 Coach with Moderate Water Endorsement (MWE). The Coach must be qualified to operate with both Canoes and Kayaks and hold a minimum of 4 Star/Moderate Water Leader (or Level 2 Coach) in the alternative discipline to their Level 3 coaching qualification.
The strongest applications will be selected considering:
- Depth and breadth of coaching qualifications and experience
- Recognised assessing/tutoring qualification and/or experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the award syllabus
- Knowledge and skills in the range of craft/environments relevant to the award
-Craft include: touring kayaks, open canoes, suitable sit-on-tops, general purpose kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, crew boats, and racing craft.
-Environments include: Slow moving water, Sheltered Inland and Tidal waters.

British Canoeing Qualifications
Essential requirements:
Level 3 Coach in one discipline and L2 or Leadership in another discipline (Canoe and Kayak)
Desirable:
You will need to have the experience to tailor delivery to a wide range of Leaders specialisms. This may be evidenced through coaching experience/qualifications in a range of disciplines or through the nature of tutoring roles/experience.

Essential: Be able to provide evidence of the provision of other British Canoeing Awards and/ or Training (for example FSRT provider)
Desirable: You will be an active and licensed British Canoeing Leader Award Provider in another discipline OR a
licensed Level 1 or Level 2 Coach Educator

Essential requirements:
We are interested in your knowledge and skills in the range of craft/environments relevant to the award. Craft include: racing craft, touring kayaks, open canoes, suitable sit-on-tops, general purpose kayaks, stand-up-paddleboards, and crew boats. Environments include: Slow moving rivers, Sheltered Inland and Tidal waters. It is important that you provide specific details for each discipline you coach, the type of groups you coach, the environments in which you work, the nature of the sessions that you run, and include dates where possible).
