Saturday, April 9 at 11:30am CT: RESULTS Domestic National Conference Call
Each month, RESULTS volunteers from around the country participate in national conference call with RESULTS staff. The call is designed to educate the grassroots on current issues RESULTS is working on to address U.S. poverty, hearing from guest speakers on these issues, and to get updates on current anti-poverty legislation in Congress. It also gives us the chance to connect as a network and hear about local actions volunteers are taking to build the political will to end poverty. The call lasts one hour and groups gather together around a speakerphone to listen.
